Pelvic Prescription has worked with me during my pregnancy for pelvic pain. They were able to resolve my concerns quickly whereas other practices in town never fully addressed my concerns. They are truly experts and approach care in a comprehensive and individualized way. They have empowered me to be a partner in my continued physical therapy maintenance and I am very grateful for their approach. I couldn’t recommend them more.

Dr. Lydia saved my pelvic floor during my pregnancy journey. I ended up having severe pelvic pain and she was able to provide pelvic floor care, equip me with helpful exercises and recommended useful tools to alleviate the pain and get me back into my daily routine. Her work continued to prep myself and also my husband with labor positions and breathing techniques to assist with my delivery process. Finally, Dr. Lydia rose to the occasion once more and provided treatment postpartum to assist with strengthening my core and hips. Two main areas my body weakened through my pregnancy and postpartum phase. Dr. Lydia helped me achieve my goal of becoming a strong mom and comfortably caring for my newborn. I am beyond grateful for all Dr. Lydia offered me throughout my time at Pelvic Prescription. All the ladies at the office know you by name, even when you’re not their patient! It truly is a home-y and family environment when you walk into the room.

Dr. Lydia has been an absolute joy to work with. I had severe hip pain during my pregnancy. Not only did she help make my pain manageable, she gave me stretches and exercises to keep me as mobile as possible. Her birth prep helped my husband and I both feel so confident going into delivery. My postpartum recovery has been significantly better than with my first and I contribute a lot of that to the support I had from Pelvic Prescription. An absolute must for anyone who is pregnant (even if you’re not having any pain or problems!).

After having my baby, I couldn’t exercise without leakage problems. I had put off pelvic PT for a while because I was nervous about how the appointment would go. Dr. Amy made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. I saw an immediate reduction in leakage! I’m so grateful to be able to do jumping jacks again and run around with my daughter without fear of peeing my pants.

I reached out to Dr. Amy a year and a half after my first child was born due to an annoyance that I’ve always been told was a “normal” part of motherhood—leakage (especially with exercise). Her approachability, kindness, and effective methods have taken me from embarrassed about my healing process (or lack thereof…), to empowered in understanding my pelvic floor, to literally wanting to shout on the rooftops “WHY HAS NO ONE TALKED ABOUT THIS BEFORE?!” She’s even helped address some low back/hip issues that I didn’t realize were connected to my pelvic floor. Her guidance has helped get my body back in working order and has given me the knowledge on how to exercise properly. I’m much more confident in my workouts! I honestly wasn’t sure that my symptoms were severe enough to warrant PT, but I’m glad I didn’t downplay what was going on—my treatments have made a big difference. I really think every mom deserves to have PT like this! The way Dr. Amy has taught me to understand and care for my body has made it feel like “mine” again. Highly recommend!!

After much research I came across Pelvic Prescription. I have a mild prolapse & the only option my OB gave me was “to do kegels”. I was frustrated, in pain & knew from the research I did there was more to it than that. After reading all their success stories, I knew I had to give them a shot. I am sooo glad I did! I drive almost 2hrs for my weekly appointment. It’s truly the highlight of my week. Dr. Nicole is an answered prayer! She’s very thorough & listens to all my concerns. She’s excellent at helping me identify problem areas & addressing it. She has tailored everything I’m doing based on where I’m at. I am still early on in my program but I have already seen progress. If you are remotely thinking of trying them out, do it! You owe it to yourself!

I highly recommend Pelvic Prescription for pelvic floor issues & bowel/bladder problems. Dr. Nicole is my PT & she is so awesome! She is very easy to talk to about personal issues like prolapsed uterus & bowel/bladder problems. She is teaching me how to strengthen my pelvic floor with home exercises. She is teaching me how to breathe when lifting my patient & when exercising. She is helping me with my bowel & bladder issues. I wish I knew about Pelvic PT years ago when my uterus first prolapsed. I was very happy to see Pelvic Prescription on social media. It’s so good to know that there are other women with pelvic floor issues, that I am not alone.

Dr. Amy and Dr. Nicole are magical humans and PTs. I came to Pelvic Prescription 2 years postpartum for diastasis recti that made my belly pooch out significantly and kept me from wearing certain clothes and performing certain workout movements. They listened to my end goal and worked from the ground up to heal my stomach. They gave me homework each week that brought me one step closer to my goals. When I told them what workouts I was doing they listened, they understood the movement, and then they watched me do the movement to make sure I was doing it safely while still healing my diastasis. If you have had a baby, are pregnant, or are going to have a baby go see them. They are so knowledgeable and caring!

I’ve been working with Lydia since December to manage my interstitial cystitis symptoms. She has always been there for me, moving appointments around to help me manage my flares. I cannot recommend her enough.

Dr. Amy has changed my life! I really thought there was something wrong with me for so long because sex was so painful. Turns out my muscles are just terribly constricted. She has helped me immensely and educated me so much on the pelvic area and the muscles in that area. I can’t say enough wonderful things about her. She has helped me physically as well as teaching me relaxation techniques. If you have any issues pertaining to the pelvic or lower back area definitely give her a call. She’s such a wonderful person!!!

I had so much pain from endometriosis for over a decade that after surgery, I thought my mild pain was normal. I came to Pelvic Prescription on my surgeon’s recommendation, and I’m so glad I did. Dr. Lydia has helped my pain already and I’m only 1/3 through the program. The ladies there are so kind and professional and actually listen to you and your needs and tailor a plan for you. Big bonus—you can bring your kiddos!

These ladies helped me overcome YEARS of pelvic pain and issues that multiple doctors could not do!! I literally have a better quality of life after completing my treatment plan with them. I am so very grateful for Dr. Nicole and the compassion, knowledge, and expert care that she gave to me. Pelvic Prescription is a MUST for any woman experiencing pelvic issues!

I went to Dr. Amy after several months of unbearable pelvic pain and pressure, and failed attempts of getting answers from multiple ER visits, urgent care visits, and even visiting with my gynecologist and urologist. From the first appointment, I was confident that Amy would help me not only reduce or eliminate my pain but help me figure out the causes for my discomfort. With each appointment, my pain levels reduced (started around 8-9 down to a 1-2)! My mind is blown with how helpful physical therapy has been with Amy, and she’s an incredible asset in the community. Highly highly recommend!

Working with Amy has given me my life back. I have had chronic back and hip pain that at my age (60), combined with weak pelvic floor muscles, had gotten to the point that I was not comfortable when out in public for fear of an embarrassing accident. Not a fan of drugs or surgery, I met Amy who through patience, exercise and physical therapy has given me the confidence to once again enjoy the things I love like yoga, biking, long walks and more! She is amazing and has taught me how to manage the problems I was having in ways that I am comfortable with. I am so glad I went this route and don’t think I would have seen such good results had it not been for Amy’s kind, thoughtful, and caring approach.

I was suffering from hip pain while preparing for my first powerlifting competition and was referred to Pelvic Prescription’s free clinic. After meeting Dr. Amy and Lydia I knew working with them was going to help me. Dr. Lydia is truly an amazing physical therapist. She is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. She challenged my way of thinking about working out and helped me engage muscles I didn’t know I needed to use. With their help I was able to stop my bladder leakage and strengthen my pelvic floor. Dr. Lydia put me to work and it paid off tenfold!

When I walked into Pelvic Prescription, I was literally crooked. My muscles were so tight and imbalanced that my hips were out of alignment and in so much pain with every little activity. This lasted about 2 whole months. I felt instant relief after my first appointment and I continued to see more and more improvement over the weeks, especially with the added bonus of the dry needling and cupping. I cannot thank Dr. Lydia enough for helping me this last couple of months! She’s amazing at checking in between appointments and helping me stay motivated to do my at-home exercises. I can say I am no longer crooked and my back and hip pain has greatly subsided!! I’m even slowly getting back into the gym!! Thank you sooooo much!!!!

Seeing Amy has been absolutely life changing! How no doctor ever told me about a pelvic floor PT in 30 years of life blows my mind but I am so glad I found Amy when I did. Her knowledge and techniques have helped me not only in intimacy but also in going to the bathroom with ease and not dreading it, breathing deeper and having better cardio because of it as well as showing me how to do upkeep at home. During in-person sessions, Amy was professional, respectful and kept banter lighthearted making sure I was always comfortable. Pelvic floor PTs are not just for postpartum women but for everyone. If you are on the fence, just book the session! You will not regret it!

I have ridden horses all my life and as a kid I fell off a lot onto my tailbone. As I got older I had a lot of pain with urination and penetration of any kind. I had issues with going to the bathroom as well. These persisted for years and I just kind of accepted that it was a normal but unfortunate part of my life. But then I realized that I might benefit from trying pelvic floor physical therapy. I started working with Amy on my issues and now after the program I barely experience any of them anymore. Even if I have a flare-up from stress I now have the tools to deal with it super efficiently and eradicate the pain. Pelvic Prescription was absolutely life changing, it has opened my eyes to how much my pain was not normal and that there were definitely ways to fix it. My pelvic floor is stronger and more elastic now and it has helped me in so many ways. I have also found that the tools she introduced me to helped me with my weightlifting and even improved my horseback riding as well! It was so refreshing to be in an environment where such a socially neglected part of the body was spoken about so openly and healing was the number one priority. Five stars all around!

Can’t recommend enough! I’ve had pelvic floor issues since an injury dating back to 6th grade, and for the first time in a long time, I don’t constantly feel pain and soreness. Everybody who works there is friendly and professional; I always felt like they genuinely cared and wanted to help in any way they could.

This place is great. Clean, professional, organized. After an umbilical hernia repair I was having all sorts of issues and random pains that Pelvic Prescription helped me overcome. I honestly think physical therapy should be a required recovery practice from any surgical procedure at this point; can’t speak highly enough about Nicole and the team here.
