Dr. Kristen Smith

PT, DPT

About

Dr. Kristen is Doctor of Physical Therapy with advanced training in pelvic health and pregnancy/postpartum. She is a Greensboro native who first landed in Wilmington to earn her Bachelor’s in Exercise Science at UNCW (go Seahawks!). Later completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Campbell University. She worked several years as an Orthopedic Doctor of Physical Therapy, but after becoming a mom, Dr. Kristen realized just how little support women are given postpartum. That lightbulb moment led her to dive headfirst into advanced pelvic floor training and she’s never looked back.

Now, she brings both clinical expertise and real-life experience to every session, helping women and men regain confidence, ditch the symptoms, and feel totally in control of their bodies again!

Outside the clinic, Dr. Kristen loves gym time, reading, cooking, and chasing her adorable two-year-old son Brewer around the beach with her husband.
