I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Pelvic Prescription and the women there. I was fortunate enough to meet Dr. Amy prior to getting pregnant with my third child, and started being treated there with Dr. Lydia (who has since moved, but has been replaced by the equally amazing Dr. Kristen) at about 30 weeks pregnant. Thanks to the Pelvic Prescription team, while my labor was insane (delivered approximately 16 minutes after arriving to the hospital- so my birth plan went out the window) my recovery was relatively easy. Their personalized guidance in the exercises that were best for me both during pregnancy and postpartum were invaluable and incredibly helpful vs trying to figure it out myself. I am a stronger, healthier mom thanks to them. Not only that, but they are SO welcoming, non judgmental, and FUN to be around. Nothing is TMI for them and that’s so important when it comes to pelvic health. Additionally- they never batted an eye when I brought my gaggle of wild and crazy boys to appointments with me, which was amazing since it wasn’t/isn’t easy for me to find childcare. If you are on the fence about if you should do pelvic PT, or where to go- this is your sign to call pelvic prescription up. You are worth the time and investment to prepare and recover from pregnancy and labor!
